  • RMVB videos from Real Media are not supported according to the website. You will need to use conversion software to convert them to a supported format.

  • Do you have to connect it to the router to access it on laptops/desktops? I wanted to use the drive on my smart tv but also have wireless access from my MacBook.

  • @anil2 The only connection it has is ethernet so you should attach it to your router. Your TV and macbook will then both be able to see the drive over the network, wireless or wired.

  • is it possible to watch ".mkv" files on Western Digital WD TV... what kind of files can i watch on it?

  • @so3y Yes MKV files are supported. There is a link in the description to other supported file types
