This is not AN IRISH issue its An American one. ! We have gay marriages over here & everyone is very acceptable of Gay people. Unfortunatly Americas behind the times, My problem is why do ye even celebrate St Patricks day? Im Irish born & bred I live in Ireland it baffles me & a lot of us over here why ye even celebrate st Patricks day most of ye have never even set foot in Ireland. Be Proud to Be American & forget all this Italian Irish, German Blood thing we think its just silly !!!

Who ever banned the gays from the St Patricks day Parade obviously havent a clue what being Irish is ! Shure we would only love gays to march the more the merrier ! I should know being Irish and Living in ireland all my life so far! Whay about gay irish people they must think there isint any! Well there wrong!

This video is a year old, but it's 2010 and the gays are still moaning about not being included in the parade.

St. Patrick's Day is about celebrating the patron Saint of Ireland. It's not about leprechauns, pots of gold, four leaf clovers or drunken pub crawls. And it is certainly not a celebration of ethnic minorities.

Why do gays feel they should have the right to barge in with pink shamrocks and make the parade their own? Stick to your Mardi Graz and your Pride marches.

The ban the Catholics people control 38% of the quorum and the ban-the-Protestants control 41%, so it is a stand-off for now. This looks to be a much harder vote than banning the gays, where all reps conveniently pretended to be straight.
