Meeting the Brick Artist

On July 31st, 2010, Nathan Sawaya himself came to the Michele & Donald D'Amour Museum of Fine Arts in Springfield, MA for an artist's demonstration. On the same day, a building competition was held in the Brick Lab, an area where people could build their own LEGO creations out of bricks provided by the museum. The competition was judged by none other than Nathan Sawaya himself. The competition had three age categories - 7 and under, 8-12, and 13-17. I was the winner picked by Mr. Sawaya in the 13-17 age category, with my following entry: "Moving On."
