Songs: Intro see see rider I got a woman Amen BIg Boss Man
In the last days of 1976 Elvis Presley started a 5 days tour from 27 to 31 of December.
It began in Wichita, Ks (27), Dallas, Tx (28), Birmingham, Al (29), Atlanta (Ge) (30) and ended in Pittsburgh (Pa), for a new years eve concert!

Now, over 30 years passed those concerts are mythical!

Not only those were, by far, Elvis best tour from 1976, but those concerts showed the King in a Top From, and are ranked among his best 25 concerts from 1971 to 1977.

The New Years Eve Concert was absolutely Outstanding (much better than the Pontiac New Years Eve concert from 1975/1976 that was a very good show).
Elvis was on Stage for almost 90 minutes, with a stage presence that everybody thought he had lost, made fantastic versions, with a voice that was better than ever!

You cant really tell a highlight from this show, but the 1977 part is, for sure, among Elvis best Stage presences from the seventies! Trying to get to you, Polk Salad Annie, Jailhouse Rock (yes!), Reconsider Baby, Rags to Riches or Unchained Melody are unique, breathtaking, FANTASTIC! And Hurt is a show toper that explain why Elvis Presley is The King of Rock and Roll!
And in the end, like he had done the previous night in Atlanta, Elvis give us a karate demo tho bring the house down!

Ladies and Gentlemen, sit back and enjoy one moment in Rock History: The King Live on Stage in Pittsburgh (Pa), for a new years eve concert, 1976/9177.

Ill upload near 42 minutes of that concert, in 5 parts, with good image, nice edit and sound, and some fantastic close up shots!

Youll be able to see The King On Stage like you never thought it would be possible in 1976/1977.

  • @MDIEGOLI Um grande abraço para voçê, daqui da cidade do Porto, Portugal.

  • who in the hell butchered this performance? That's why I think it sucks !!! So thank you whoever you are for tearing up a good think. I bet you could fuck up a crow bar!!!

  • @MyGwarren The video that I’ve uploaded was not edited by me. This is the only footage available. Just like this. Like it or not.So before accusing others, for what you ignore, just think for a minute or two, if you have enough brains to do so. But this is a free world, at least where I live, so if you don't like the video you are welcome to comment but after that, just get the hell out of here.

  • Regardless of how much pain or how tired he would go on stage and try to give his fans his best from the depths of his hear and soul with no regard for his own feelings. He loved his fans that much. Elvis is love in motion his sweet, kind, generous loving spirit he just wanted to make people happy. He achieved that goal 1,000 of times over for me and I still listen to his music and miss him everyday

He is one in a trillion. He will always have my love, respect and admiration, Thanks so much Galo

  • why dose it skip so bad?

  • To the fans who shot this film, whoever and wherever you are, a huge thank you. Without you, none of us today could see what happened on that fantastic new years eve night. Imagine it. This legendary concert should've been filmed professionally but wasn't, because of col T Parker, his crooked manager.

I saw that suit at Graceland and it is stunning. What you cannot see clearly in this video is tiny colourful baubles embroidered within the eagle design which gleam with movement. Fabulous!

  • I know this has nothing to do with Elvis but what band played that awesome AOR 80's music in the beginning?

  • If it wasnt for all the amateur video taken at his concerts, good or bad , we would all be staring at a blank screen right now ! Be grateful for what we have and enjoy it because the powers that be never had the foresight to professionally record his 1000 plus concerts . I for one am grateful for every second of video we have of the KING no matter what the quality !

  • Hi Galoport, thanks for the post. Hugs from Italy

  • Thank you so much for the post. Elvis has taught me so much about life, god, music and I learned how to be romantic through him. If he didn't die, it wouldve been interesting to see him reinvent himself in the 80s, 90s and today...
