Pele is the best ever. There was nothing he couldn't do. score goals from everywhere and from all angles, score goals with both legs, score goals dribbling through players, scoring goals with his head, scoring goals w/bicycle kicks, scoring free kicks. He made it look so easy...so effortlessly...as if he was toying with the rivals.

Pele had been an unknown player before 1958 W Cup at age 17. He played really in his first W Cup and turned into an instant success. Up to now, he has been the one and only player winning three world cups, and he had major contribution in two. .

Pele also participated in some intercontinent club tournaments In European soil in 1967-68. Santos vs Juventus etc. His performance beat the best in Europe very convincingly. So no argument worldwide he was the king of football.

Are you on glue? In his first world cup he was the youngest player to ever appear, the youngest player ever to score and the youngest ever player to lift the trophy.  He scored the quarter final's winning goal, a hat trick in the semi's, and scored two in the final, one of which is considered an all time great world cup goal. He scored 6 in 4 and was voted young player of the tournament. Given these facts, I worry about your definition of "almost nothing"

Very impressive video but you can do that with any great player. Good with both legs,impressive heading ability, great athlete. Nothing great about his passing (at least in this video), very good dribbler not in the level of Ronaldo phenomeno or Messi though. The Brazil teams were great even without him and they would probably have won anyway (as they did in 1962). I have not seen enough of him but from what I have seen I would not rate him as the best.
