What type of paint is that?

I love the printing process....especially intaglio. And how each print can have subtle differences, or be very different depending on how much ink you apply and wipe off. Thanks for this video. I am excited to be getting back into the studio in spring for advanced printmaking. One day I'll have an awesome studio all for myself. :-) Keep up the great work!

Thank you for showing this. This process was explained in my art history class, but it is way easier to understand it actually seeing it.

this is really cool! good work

I've never seen the hand wiping technique before. I use three different tarlatans to work the ink down. Now I want to give this hand wiping technique a try. Probably makes for some interesting ink dispersal.

@clanftwftwftw Which is the process you better like for engraving? Obviously everyone has their own preference. I like, for example, linolium and wood engraving, maybe mixed with drypoint for richier textures. :)
@backav - thanks! it was a good night of editioning!

@clanftwftwftw - i try and print an edition of at least 10. but this particular print was for a exchange portfolio, so i had to print like 36 or something like that.
