I first saw this film on a big old screen in Beverly, Massachusetts...near Beverly Farms (home of the Beverly Farmhands)...and it was a sight and sound to behold. I have since seen it numerous times. After years of reading Mr. G., I learned that we had the same birthdate, which is also the birthdate of King Crimson and the deathdate of James Joyce. You do the math. Not to worry. No long division. Only Joy Division. Everyone gets a piece. But not without going through Ashiata Shiemash, or Dog.

They should transfer this film onto DVD format for future generations to watch.

Of course it is advisable to read the books in sequence, then watch this film, for pleasures sake, from what I see on these clips it is very accurate to his accounted life in the book.
