It spins pretty good. It's like a big 327! I have a new big block in the planning stage right now and when I'm done it should hopefully rev to 8500 rpm.

10.2:1 and yes, pump gas, usually 93, sometimes 91 if that's all I can get.

Rod length has nothing to do with calculating cubic inches.
Cubic inches = bore x bore x stroke x # of cylinders x .7854
For those interested, the Scat rods in this engine are 6.385".

The valves are what come standard in the AFR heads. It also has titanium retainers, Jesel shaft rockers, Jesel pushrods, and Schubeck Roller X lifters.
