God is another species and keeps us from succeeding. He sets up governments in time to destroy certain things. If democracy was from God, oh God, then why wasn't it the original form? Why does history repeat itself? Why did it take so long for certain realizations to lock together? Because God wants to destroy us.

@PaulDougouba Economics just doesn't work that way. When everything is provided by the government there is little incentive to work and nothing is produced. When the health care workers and school teachers stop working then there won't be any school or health care for anyone. The result is extreme poverty. What right do you have to demand things that you haven't earned? Why would your neighbors owe you anything? The government can only provide what it plunders, minus the cut it keeps for itself.
