The Incredible Journey

This video documents 28 years of working together as The Battersby Duo.
Culled from hours of dusty videotape, we spent the better part of a month, watching our old TV shows and concert videotapes from the 80's and 90's, restoring and digitizing them as best we could. Some of the tapes were so damaged that, try as we might, we just couldn't restore them. So...before you is a 9 minute video, of the journey we took on roads less travelled, that in less than 30 years propelled us from singing on the sidewalk of The Kennedy Center in Washington DC, for nickels and dimes to performing at The Kennedy Center, and some of the most prestigious Performing Arts Centers in the world, and ultimately in 2010 winning a Nomination for a Grammy Award.
and being invited to attend the awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

We hope you enjoy the songs and routines that we wrote that brought us so much joy over the years. Look at the audience shots as well. Maybe you'll see yourself in the audience ( all grown up!!) . Please let us know if you do. We'd love to hear from you.

The past 30 years truly have been an Incredible Journey,culminating in meeting you in LA and you and us working on the All About Bullies CD that has just been nominated for a GRAMMY in the past few days. It was a cool project and your addition Tall Jenna was fabulous....We're really proud of all you've achieved :-)
