I have the same plane, I stand in front of the rear horizontal stab and run it full speed for a 30 seconds , yours sounded like it was 4 cycling, way too rich. You had plenty of time to climb higher than the trees if the motor was running at 2 cycle. It's embarassing but if you learn from each mistake you are on the right track. It's the ones that try the same thing never changing anything and expect different results. Keep trying.....
hehe flying near trees = bad idea. At least the crash didn't seem too severe... the soft tree branches somewhat cushioned the hit/landing. Plane should be mostly salvageable : )
actually, I found that all the sim does is get you used to the transmitter. In real life, the plane doesn't roll NEARLY as fast and you have to use more rudder when turning otherwise you will stall. Found that out the hard way, good thing my instructor was right there and I was at a high enough altitude!!
Dont feel so bad my friend, this use to happend when we fligth close to some forest or trees, I have same experience here in Mexico, I crashed my supersports in La marquesa.... Good luck!!! and do it again!
