Miley Cyrus celebrated her 17th birthday in style. Find out about some of the special surprises right now!

Welcome back to Clevver TV with yours truly, Dana Ward, at our Beverly Hills studio.

So it was rumored awhile back - in fact, I reported it on my vlog - that Miley was planning a Dolly Parton themed birthday bash. That's right, Cyrus was apparently thinking about having the famous country singer's music playing along with guests wearing Dolly-inspired costumes. Well, the actual party was nothing like that, but it was a great success.

Miley's 80s themed party was supposedly a big surprise and took place at a NYC hotspot about a week before the official MC November 23rd birthday. Along with a performance from the cast of 'Rock of Ages' as well as a funky, giant custom cake, as created by the star of the Cake Boss tv show, family, friends and even rumored boytoy Liam Hemsworth were there to wish Miley a happy 17.

Cyrus also had an 80s themed party for the big 1-5, and it's likely because, according to Mama Cyrus, Miley loves the big hair and the fashion of the decade. As far as Miley's styling for the evening, she chose to wear itty bitty denim shorts, a black tank/vest, some high black boots and some punk-style wristbands.
