To skip to the feedback part, click this: 5:32 . My fourth original tune; still demo quality more than performance quality, oh well! A dance number featuring the d.84 (Breakdown) feedback that goes on forever if you tap anywhere along the top edge of the touch pad.
----------
Details: 140 bpm, Mixolydian (MXL) Scale.
Rhythm constructed on P.97 (House) with d.80 (Bass Drum) and c.56 (BPF Chord) on alternating beats, then G.47 Gate Arpeggiator applied to L.06 (Square Bell).
Then some beats added from d.84 for the final Fixed rhythm.
Then a solo with L.00 (Ambient Lead),
a solo with L.03 (Tell Min) and gate arp off [*** SUPER SECRET TRIBUTE TO KRAFTWERK'S "Neon Lights" *** but imperfectly done, even with a Nintendo DS stylus!],
then solos with L.09 (Square Lead), L.14 (Digital Talk), and b.35 (Unison Bass),
and finally d.84 (Breakdown drum) showing the feedback you can get if you tap the top edge of the touch pad,
then I bring down the bpm (don't forget to turn off the loop) and bring it back up. The feedback stops if you drum anywhere else or change the program!

But the Kaossilator Pro (3 lbs and about double the price) is REALLY something!
The Kaossilator 2, the upgrade of the handheld Kaossilator, is coming soon in 2012!
HALL OF FAME:
Okay, I am a tiny worm, new with a Kaossilator, not a professional musician. Please have a look at a few REALLY GOOD players:

ur all a buncha fags and this shits weak -- annoying techno in 8 part beat . gets annoying as fuck, and the FIX feature is to save , you dont have to use it , nor do you gotta say some bullshit about "pros do it right the first time"

@6jordanf9 Oh, sorry you didn't like the demo. I was just starting out and this was more a demo of the feedback effect at the end than a serious tune. Please try out my video "Dark Taxi" because I got better at it by then. This is not an easy instrument, somewhat toy-ish, the pad is too small and unmarked. The Kaossilator Pro is bigger and beautiful and repairs many of the limitations. We must all keep practicing at it to draw out the awesome potential.

@6jordanf9 Give me your hate, give me your bile. I sift through it, look for some sense or some truth that means I need to improve in some way. I say, "What would Buddha do?" :-)
