i understand what you try to say but the techno is a gerne... since techno did not exist back than hence it is called disco (what they intended to make and succeeded in). i must admit that it is a timeless song and way ahead of it's time but it still remains DISCO... same reason why we don't call kraftwerk minimal. though highly influential in all electronic music gernes. obviously it's debatable that it is the foundation of modern music. donna summer remains the one of the greatest disco artist
