I almost cried at 7:19 when James was wondering how the the future movie would be, and I sadly said to my screen: It sucked.

This movie, along with Species, made me a man...and I was 2 when Transformers came out.

when i watched the commentary with the original i think it was the directer said the he heard about a kid who locked himself in his room for a week after Optimus died

@Dragonsbane025 I don't know either. I remember seeing one episode of Transformers with Hotshot in it. He had a red Megabot helicopter thing,and he was a yellow car. Then we lost our satellite for a week. When I tuned back in,Hotshot was apparently long dead.

@regiroiseel When did Hotshot die? I probably missed it as I missed portions of Armada and Energon. But the 1st Hotshot I'm aware of was a R.I.D. Spychanger.

I didn't even grow up with Transformers and I love this movie.

@Dragonsbane025 Uhm,excuse me. I may not have stuck with the series from the beginning until the end. But Hotshot was definitely before Bumblebee. I've never heard of Bumblebee until after Hotshot died,even from the biggest Transformers nerdgasmers.

@regiroiseel *BUZZ!!!* Wrong, Hotshot took Bee's place as the bot who was best buds with humans in general. Further more he is just really a mix of Bumblebee and Hot Rod. Also most of this toys sucked.
