ah my mom used to sing this to me when I was a little girl after I took a bath and she dried me off and I fogot that till right now. I couldnt understand what the weird middle part was about but I could tell me mom loved me when she sang to me. My dad used to always sing to me too.

these recording were done around the same time as Nashville skyline when Bob Dylan had quit smoking so his voice is a little softer and slightly higher pitch if you listen to Nashville skyline ( my favourite Bob dyaln album) you will defiantly know that Bob Dylan is doing the back up vocals in this recording
