@Freecloud9 I saw this as a child too and I too, never forgot it's power to completely pull at every human emotion of pity, despair and a deep sense of shame that elderly people had/have to exist like Margaret. As fas as I am aware, it has never been legitimately released on DVD, though there are 'bootleg' versions that are copied (presumably) from the American video release...

I was a little boy when this was made ; it could be 100 years ago ! ; funny how at the same time there was Sgt Pepper, Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix

I saw this film with my Grandmother when I was just ten years old & NEVER forgot it,even at that age I appreciated the 'feeling' of the film. Great stuff & many thanks for this clip...,oh how I'd love to get a Dvd copy of this along with so many good old British work. :-)
