Our 1997 visit to Poltergeist star Heather O'Rourke's grave in Westwood Cemetery in Hollywood. She is in the same cemetery as Marilyn Monroe and fellow Poltergeist star Dominique Dunne.

sprinkles8989, some of your questions are very offensive. How would you like it if I asked about bugs crawling on your loved one? If you must know, great care was taken to make sure Heather is protected from the elements. She's in a sealed crypt. Nothing is getting in or out of there. She may have not meant anything to you, but she meant the world to me. Show a little more class. Some of her family members read these comments. Good grief!

The saddest thing is that the doctors gave her a misdiagnosis. I believe it was a blocked intestine that had actually killed her and that could have been helped by a rather simple surgery. It's so sad when one is taken from life too soon.

This is so sad that this little girl was taken from the world at only a small age! Recently i have been watching all the poltergeist movies and have very much enjoyed them. Even though this is a sad thing love how the printed, "carolanne- poltergeist 1 11 111" on the grave!

she was so very young she did not even make it to be a teenager. i wish they could have helped her out. i am sure she would have continued to be a great success in movies. RIP Heather.
