  • ohh god its columbo haha luv it,never new this version was out there, fab,xx

  • Does anyone know if this was shot on videotape? There seems to be a changeover at 7:17 from film to videotape when the "Come, Ye, to the Fair" sequence begins- as well as a shift from an outdoor park ground to an interior studio. I've known of this production for years, but have never seen it, being only 4 years old in 1966, and never caught a re-broadcast- if there ever was one. Looks wonderful!! Thank you for providing this.

  • Thanks so much for posting - a superb video!

  • @bangbgood Robert Goulet - the golden baritone voice - unbelievably handsome. I still miss hearing his voice on TV shows, etc. They just don't make them like this any more. Sally Ann Howe too - what a dulcet-toned soprano she has!

This isn't Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse. It's Robert Goulet and Sally Ann Howes. Gene Kelly wasn't a baritone as Goulet is and Charisse didn't sing at all.
