Here is the first lecture from my visit to St. Herman's Orthodox Theological Seminary in Kodiak, Alaska. This was given as part of a series of presentations at the seminary through their new program: http://addictions.sthermanseminary.org/ . The St. Dimitrie Program in Cluj, Romania, under OCMC Missionary Floyd Frantz is now forming an extension of the program to minister to the Diocese of Alaska. In this lecture, I introduce how the human mind operates and the groundwork for developing addiction.
