-in the real world, there is no table/wood to absorb the impact.

Good for hype but skulls are much thicker than a melon. Just try stabbing your knife through a pigs skull you can get from the abattoir, it won't happen very easily. Then try getting it out easily..lol. I've severed lots of necks from wild game and livestock with hatchets and it takes many hits. Chopping through already sawed spines doesn't compare. You hook tool is useless unless you want to pull them closer! The hatchet and long blade are the best, other than that Just drink your beer!
