This animation shows how fluid velocity is affected by pipe size for an uncompressable fluid. The flow rate (the volume of fluid which flows past each point in the pipe) must be the same everywhere in the pipe.

  • Hello,

I would like to know how to set the parameters for the study. I am using ANSYS 12 now, and i am trying to do the same study, but for a nozzle of a turbine. I have the speed and pressure at the outleet of the nozzle and would like to know the speed on the inlet of the nozzle (i dont have any information there, just the geometry)...

At least if you can give me the information of how to set the parameters on the ansys software that would be awesome. thanks.

  • thanks, very basic..
