Full Episode 201 of NoMoreDownLow.TV! National Coming Out Day 2011 marks the one year anniversary of the award-winning webseries NoMoreDownLow.TV focused on the highlighting openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals making a difference in the African American community. New episodes debut every month at www.NoMoreDownLow.TV.

Season Two of NoMoreDownLow.TV kicks off with a new episode today and features segments on:

Wanda Sykes Comes Out About Breast Cancer -- And world-renown breast cancer expert Dr. Susan Love tells us why black lesbians may be at greater risk for the disease;

Ivan and Wymond Get Married! Behind-the-scenes of a black gay couple's wedding;

Plus, watch the top 5 most popular segments on NoMoreDownLow.TV in its first year!

"NoMoreDownLow.TV celebrates National Coming Out Day as our anniversary because we know how important it is to have positive role models in the LGBT black community. Our show focuses attention on out celebrities and gives a voice to people like Cpl. Evelyn Thomas who was on the frontlines of the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' fight and transgender heroes like Valerie Spencer," said Earnest Winborne executive producer of NoMoreDownLow.TV.

"Coming out in the black community has its challenges, but there are a lot of successful openly LGBT black people out there. It's as easy as turning on CNN and seeing Don Lemon at the anchor desk or meeting Chonsie Bullock, an out and proud lesbian in Inglewood, who runs her own successful business," said Winborne.

In its first year, NoMoreDownLow.TV has featured interviews with Colin Powell, Wanda Sykes, Magic Johnson, Blair Underwood, Rev. Al Sharpton, Phylicia Rashad, CNN's Don Lemon, Fox Sports host Curt Menefee, Loretta Devine, Kelly Rowland, Jill Scott, Jesse Williams, Roland Martin, Jackée Harry, Duane Cramer, civil rights icon Julian Bond, Doug Spearman, Darryl Stephens and more. Earnest Winborne is a 32-year veteran television producer and director, who happens to be gay. He is the executive producer of NoMoreDownLow.TV, a provocative entertainment news show launched last year on "National Coming Out Day" as a way to combat negative stereotypes of same gender loving people in the black community.

Winborne's career path has led him to work with television's biggest stars, most successful programs, in the nation's top television markets. During his three decade career, he has also worked as an associate producer with "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in Chicago and as producer and field director for "The View" in New York. For the better part of the last 15-years, Winborne has covered the red-carpets events of Hollywood as a field producer/director for entertainment news magazines "Extra", "Access Hollywood" and "E! News."

The series is co-hosted by Kendell Hogan and Janora McDuffie, with correspondents Mark Noble and Lawrencia Dandridge.

  • Happy Anniversary, hope you guys keep the episodes coming. My favorite story was the one on Bayard Rustin, it was very inspirational. 'thepetitionsite' could be used as a central place for supporters to get the networks attention. Thanks for producing such a great show.
