Unable to cover the cost of a dental education herself, Dr. Luu chose a career in dentistry with the Navy and got the help she needed. The opportunities available in the Navy Dental Corps have provided Dr. Luu and fellow Navy Dentists extensive training with the latest in dental technology and allowed them to represent their country in a number of humanitarian missions across the globe. Watch Dr. Luu's video to see what a day in her life is like, both in and out of the Navy.

I was a Navy Nurse in the early 1980s and never would have worn uniforms like these nurses. Sloppy is all I can think of. I'm not saying they should go back to wearing caps, but you can't tell if they are nurses or housekeepers. Does anyone agree?

you don't have to join if you don't want to. nobody's forcing you to sign up for anything unless the world is coming to an end.

FACT: Only two people know the military: those who are in it, and the enemy. Everybody else got a washed out second opinion.
