I have coyotes coming on my ranch at around 2:30 am every day then again at around 7am when I let my dogs out I don't want to kill them but I don't want them messing with my dogs or my other animals any ideas on how to keep them off my property?

Coyotes are an essential part of the eco systemand an amazing animal, but when there's too many of them and not enough wild game for them to prey on, they can become a dangerous menace. Then it's up to hunters to keep their numbers in check.

I live out in the desert of NM and I love to sit out at night and listen to them. However my coy-dog tends to join them too often and that close can break your ear drums.
