This is a short video of Anuk one of our Owl Experience Show birds that entertain our Falconry clients and visiting members of the public alike. It is amazing to know he is only just 20 mths old and is already flying around our barn and up to the beams on command of a hand. Be thrilled as he performs his long swooping flights from one end of the barn to the other, climbs up to a high beam and drops down to pounce on the waiting food dropped on to a box. All in our 15th century thatched barn regardless of the weather.

A thatched barn, eh? How vulnerable was this type of roofing to fire? And how did they efficiently clean it of "unwanted guests" (animals who got inside for warmth)?
