i stoped useing this type with the reset button, i removed it from the cartridges and replaced the chipset with single automatic reset chips on each cartridge, they work so much better as you don't need to press a reset button, when a colour goes to zero just switch off the power button on front of the printer then on again and it's reset, and they're more reliable than the button type, plus the button always ends up breaking, you never have this issue with the automatic type.

How would I reset the ink level on the R220 with the CIS system? I dont have a reset button like on this printer in the video.

It was really very useful for me. Thanks a lot.

Is it ok to put the ink below the printer level?

Thank you, i bought a CISS and could not make it work due to cartridge recognition issue, i watched many videos here (like 20) and did many things but nothing, i thought my CISS was broken till i saw your vid, you are the only one that shows how to push hard and lock the catriges in place, i thought i was doing right with just hard push but actually they never made the click sound.

Thanks you saved me alot of time Peter :)
@dieselworld The way to reset the levels on a system without a reset button would be to let the printer tell you that it no longer recognizes one or more cartridges, once you get this message all you would have to do is to remove the cartridges and pop them back in. This will reset the level for that particular color.

@d10spro It's never recommended that you place the ink lower than the printer. It will make it difficult for the system to draw the ink.
