i always liked using guillotines, but found that they were more inaccurate at a longer yardage

Oh yes no singer better than Ted Nugent to bows videos :)

Awsome shot and even better song. Ol Ted still going strong!!! Im trying to get a turkey in bow range this year, but using G5 strikers. May switch to guillotines once I start getting the turks in close range.

Nothing in the video is fake. It you pay attention, there are actually two different shots. In the first shot the decoy head is attached and is cut off by the broadhead. In the second shot, I taped the head back on with duck tape and the head is again cut off by the broadhead.

what is the white target ? and what r the tubes for, so the blades dont cut, so it wont go to deep in the target? thanx for your reply also, much appretiated!

The white target is a 2" thick target I put about 18" in front of the larger brown target. I did this because the white target will slow the arrow down, but not stop it completely. The arrow would penetrate the white target the hit the brown one to stop it without damaging the fletching. I could not have pulled the broadhead out of the brown target without damaging it. The tubes are necessary for proper flight. I shot one arrow without them, and the arrow only went about 10 yds.

how do you practice with the guillotine? if i shoot my block, wont it break??

The white target is a couple inches thick, just thick enough to slow the arrow down. I placed it about 6-8 inches in front of the brown target. The broadhead goes through the white target about 7 inches, then I unscrew it and pull the arrow out. The blades I was practicing with survived about 5 shots before a couple of them bent. Make sure you practice with the tubes on the blades. I was amazed at how much of a difference they made. Without them, these things are nothing more than a plow.

The range is only about 20 yds. right? How much does it drop? How many shots could I shoot @ a piece of thick foam? I want to try it opening day when the birds are not pressured, I want some feedback before I purchase a few, by the looks of the vid you guys really like it!! How about practice tips, are they fairly accurate with the flight of these things? sorry for all the questions

I was shooting these at 20 yds., I have not shot them farther, but would probably fine back to 25 yds. So far, they have almost identical to my 125 field tips, but I would definitely practice with the head before hunting. The heads are surpisingly durable. I have some the same blades for about 10 shots, you just have to replace the little pieces of tubing on the blades before each shot. The target I shoot is about 3 in. thick, its perfect because I unscrew the head, then pull the arrow out.
