I was just there for two weeks to visit family, Guam is a gnarly place.

I'm not sure of all the hostility in these posts, but all the locals I met were very nice.

I'm sure the line ups are like anywhere else in the world, you gotta take it easy to get in. Show respect to get respect.

Guam is the most awesome place in the world. I was there from 1989 to 1992. I worked as a reporter for Guam Business News, Glimpses of Guam and the newspaper Pacific Daily News. I got to know the island, the people - both Chamorros, Guamanians (those hoales who became islanders) and I will tell you that it is the most awesome place in the world and those hoales who go there and stay become a part of the island. They are all my family even now .... I love you all! I want to come home!
