  • @ShadowWolfRising Lol they are now. LoL

  • if i had a dollar for every time someone responded to my comment about Pandarens being in WoW, i could buy another game.

  • @CartierBressonftw

Pandarens came before Kung Fu Panda, they wouldn't have a case.

  • @ShadowWolfRising It's funny how fate works

  • @CartierBressonftw Taurens? Gnomes? Blood Elves? Dranei? Dwarves? Trolls?

Hmmm.... None of those were in Warcraft either, well, no more than the Pandaren were. Yet, they are loved races of WoW now. Ok, so not the gnomes, but no one cares about them, unless you need something to punt.

Each time Blizzard said "We're adding X" we hear the internet scream "THE SKY IS FALLING", and each time WoW continues to dominate video game subscriptions.

  • @killerfire23 Adding to that, what Chen does in WC3, which is swinging his keg, does not dictate what Pandaren can and can't do. It's one fighting style.

  • @CartierBressonftw First point: Yes, so far most of the complaints have been "They are lame!1 I quit". For the record, just because someone defends the company, it does NOT make them a "Fanboy". Chen Stormstout's outfit resembles that of an ancient chinese alchemist/brewer and the trailer did not show the brewmaster designs.

Second:How do the pandaren in MoP look more "cuddly" than in WC3? Yes, the running animation is silly but they look more serious than their WC3 counterparts. Also, Gnomes?

  • @CartierBressonftw Furthermore, they didn't make rexxar a big cuddly orc/ogre when WoW came out. They didn't make trolls cuddly and cute.

Making pandas cuddly, furry, in more ways than in their previous games, just goes to show it's more influenced by the movie which broke box office records in China, than the game it so supposedly came from, even though it was admittedly a joke.

I hope the next exp is: Wrath of the Murlocs. They have magnitudes more lore than pandas do.

  • @killerfire23 lol, no, it doesn't. That's just what every fanboy wants people to believe, though.

Just because there is a panda (who is drunk, and shoots fire at enemies after they are soaked in beer), which in no way resembles kung fu panda, doesn't make today's incarnation, which you'd be hard pressed to deny is a direct rip off, not of Warcraft III, but the movie of that well known name.

The new designs look NOTHING like wc3. The only similarity is that they are pandas.

  • @CartierBressonftw Box office ripoff? This video is proof that Pandaren were around before Dreamworks ever spawned that film. And no, not every single person, the majority of haters.
