  • Comment s'appelle le peu garçon en le film?

  • Comment s'appelle le peu graçon en le film?

  • Today it isn't so much that dad was getting out of the wrong side of the car but that he was going to get a bunch of cigars.

  • Why did Pete have a New York accent?

  • In early 1937, times were a little bit better then they had been, and some people thought that the Depression was over.

Later that year, "Depression II" hit, and, somewhere along the line, the distinction was forgotten, and 1930-1941 are, today, thought of as one Depression.

  • I wonder if they finally had to fill in those underpasses. Since Detroit is now a smaller city, it probably does not need them as much. And anyway, one would wonder if it would be safe to go down there, especially for a kid.

  • This was terrific. I know my parents were growing up in Detroit in the thirties. The city sure has sunk since the white families left. But it is so neat to see what it once was. Thanks for saving the film!

  • "Let's take this underpass Pete. Watch you don't step on the winos and junkies!"

  • What a snitch that kid is..LOL

Sounds like he has a Boston accent.

  • Nevermind..I just read that it was indeed filmed in Detroit.
