Learn how to add simple sensors, to monitor things like the CPU load of a server, to the PRTG network monitor and display real time data from the sensor in a 'map'. A map is basically a webpage which can be used to view the results of, and the data from, devices and sensors.

  • I came across to this error

Please enter "Credentials for Windows Systems" for the parent device or a parent group to use this sensor type

What should I do? Thanks in advance.

  • @ddos411 If you're trying to monitor another windows machine from a PRTG server, you might need to give the sensor the username and password for an account on the other computer. Take a look at the settings when you add the sensor.

  • whats that "6 new message(s)" at 2:21? if its a twitter or email notifier please tell me

  • @PrinceProStudio That's part of PRTG, it's in the webpage. The messages are warnings from different sensors, alerts, information about the server, etc.
