same on my mobo, from 1.550vcore it suddenly stops going up by .25 and starts increasing in whole increments --1.550 - 1.650 - 1.7 ect ect

My motherboard cannot exceed a particular voltage. I can get it to 2.8 but it is unsteady and the voltage is increased drastically to get to 2.8 rather than leaving it at 2.7

In the time when i was buying my Athlon X2, that Intel CPU costed more then double with motherboard, as compared to Amd Cpu+Motherboard.
So I saved money and I can upgrade now ;)
Intel does overclock nicely, that is great i think.
But My cheap AmdX2 Have Vitrtualzation instructions and Intel did not.

but u get less fps comparing C2D vs AMD and i dont think 50dollars for a good cpu is expensive... like E4300... its 1.8GHZ but u get 3.0GHZ on stock and a medium end motherboard...

i love amd processors, they're cheaper because they don't need huge cache onchip, since their memory bandwidth is so huge! most people don't even need anything better than a 4200+ if they have a good hard drive, RAM, and video card. Deneb will be sick!
