This is a quiz eh. I'll show you 15 Anime Openings (Each have a "Canadian" reference in the anime) in the span of 120 seconds, and you try to name all of them eh. The openings are listed in chronological order, then by name in the same year eh.

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Keep thinking I'll say eh
- Play the video eh.
- Try to name each anime in order (as they are listed that way) eh.
- Check your answers below once you've got a name for each/give up eh
- If you want, post how you did (I'll routinely update the results) and provide feedback eh. I'll take constructive criticism seriously eh. If you flame and write "That suxxors", I'll ignore it eh.

2) Wakakusa no Charlotte (1977) - Set in Quebec, Canada
3) Anne of Green Gables (1979) - Based on a Canadian novel, set in Prince Edwards Island, Canada
4) Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) - Amuro Ray was born in Prince Rupert, British Columbia
5) Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket (1989) - Test pilot Christina Mackenzie is Canadian
6) Yawara! A Fashionable Judo Girl (1989) - Jody Rockwell, a recurring character, is Canadian
7) Mobile Fighter G Gundam (1994) - Andrew Graham (Pilot of the Lumber/Grizzly Gundam) is a pilot for Neo-Canada
8) Night Warriors: Darkstalker's Revenge (1997) - The Canadian "creature" the Sasquach (a character in the game) has a cameo apperance
9) Medabots (1999) - Tom and his Medabot, Snowbro, poke fun at Canadian stereotypes
10) Kinnikuman II (AKA Ultimate Muscle) (2002) - Canadianman/Manitoban is a recurring character.
11) Wacky Science Fiction Series Wandaba Style (2002) - Susumu's father lives in Canada
12) Cromartie High School (2003) - Named after popular Montreal Expos player Warren Cromartie
13) Ginban Kaleidoscope (2005) - Pete Pumps, a Canadian stunt pilot, is a main character. In addition, the preliminary stage takes place in Montreal, Quebec.
14) The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2006) - Ryoko Asakura "left for Canada"
15) Sketchbook ~full color'S - Kate, a supporting character, is Canadian.

  • Great compilation! but you forgor "Kaze no shojo Emily"(taking place in Canada), Kaleido Star (they meet acrobats in Vancouver) and "Konnichiwa Anne" (prequel of Anne of Green Gables) :-)
