This is the Misirlou dance we (sacred circle dancers) call "Misirlou tango" because is the greek dance Syrtos Kritikos adapted in 1944 years by a greek woman in the US on a tango song called "Misirlou" famous at that time. The dance become popular under the name"Misirlou", but Bernard Wosien in 1980 years put the dance on the greek music "Sto perigiali" by Theodorakis with a little variation on the first step, and now we dance also this version as a meditation dance.
