Spotlight On Spurn
A programme illustrating two aspects of life at East Yorkshire's Spurn Point. Firstly, the unique work of the resident Wildlife Officer dealing with the natural habitats in and around the constantly shifting sands and secondly the work of the RNLI crew based at Spurn Point. The RNLIs only full-time residential lifeboat crew.
Jan Crowther: Viewer
"I think this is one of the best programmes I have ever seen. It really captures the feeling of the place."
Dave Steenvoorden -- Superintendent Coxswain -- Humber Lifeboat Station (RNLI)
"Can I say you captured a very good picture of life at Spurn Point."
I know some these crew members and you would not believe the spontaneity involved. Spurn is beautiful despite the remote entity...

Very good production, however three stations on the Thames, namely Chiswick, Tower & Gravesend also have full time crews on station 24hrs.
