Introduction of Diaf

DIAF was founded in Copenhagen in 1912 under the name
"Danish Instrument and Apparatus Factory.
In the 1950s and 1960s DIAF became more and more familiar with the manufacturing of production equipment for the chemical/technical processing industry, especially in respect of the medical/pharmaceutical, paint and ink industry.
From 1974 to 1979 DIAF worked as an agent for the Swiss company WAB (Willy A Bachofen AG) introducing their equipment to DIAF´s customers. In 1979 WAB became the parent company of DIAF and since then the market share within our line of equipment increased rapidly.
Due to alterations in the market structures, bigger demands for turn-key projecting and exchange of management in our group, DIAF was bought by the Danish company Westrup A/S in the beginning of the year 2000.
