All the Books say Dunnocks are skulking and elusive, staying near to the ground , not in my garden, this one regularly sits on my Knee.

  • @cybagooseuk Thank you for the info. The upper plumage of the Dunnock also somewhat looks similar to that of a house sparrow.

  • @surajitkoley thanks for watching, the first bird on the film is called a Dunnock in the UK, (it used to be known as the Hedge sparrow) but it is not related, it has a beak more like a Finch, the House Sparrow is the second bird on the film, it has a stronger beak for crushing seeds.

  • This one closely resembles house sparrow, amazing!

  • @Jawa2lak I think they all trust me, that no harm will come to them in my garden, (Except from neighbours cats)
