1994. This guy Dan, who just became a Rush fan wanted a free subscription to Rush's newsletter but Rush said he should have a bake sale instead to gather up the 25 bucks for it. (Kind of a joke at the libs saying we should have bake sales to raise money for the military and just give money to the Education Department).

Dan got a bunch of support and 50K people showed up along with Rush himself.

At the end of this video Rush says it was 65,000 people that showed up.

@MrOnlinePsychology People that say they "hate Rush," don't understand him. He makes "cocky" statements 2 b "funny;" he knows ONLY his listeners will "get it." He acts like a "sexist" because he's not...& takes delight in making people think he is...cuz it couldn't be further from the truth. He pretends to be a "jerk" because he enjoys pissing off libs.

Rush Limbaugh will go down in history as the "Johnny Carson" of his craft. There will never be another...as it should be. He IS an original.

This was the very first "TEA Party," in it's current form...they just didn't know their mission...yet.

Same people. Same dedication. Locations all across the USA.

Defeating the 1st America-HATING President in ANY of their lifetimes. (1st was Woodrow Wilson...a REAL racist.)

MOST of these people would give the shirt off their back for ANYONE who needed it...no matter the color of their skin.

Can see Obama doing that? I can't...no matter the color of their skin.

@MrOnlinePsychology Uh, I think you have your news stories mixed-up. Google "TEA Party terrorists"...note the dates on the stories & who said what.

If you're trying to say that Rush makes "nasty" comments about the left ("terrorist" & "mob mentality")...go to my channel, in the search box ON my channel enter "The Civil Left." Then, watch all 3 hrs & 45 min of my 2 "The Civil Left" videos. The nastiness comes MOSTLY (not ALL) from the left in this country & MUCH of it's in my vids.

@shellymic - I mean i hate his politics, doing constructive things to sell his ideology like this where even a liberal like me can be impressed are fine, rather than do what he seems to now, refer to democrats as "terrorists" or liberals as having a "mob mentality" etc. but i get that hes just a radio personality who struck it big and is quite different outside of politics.
