roger never did drugs he hated them. he almost got kick out of the band in the 60s when he flushed everyone elses drugs down the toilet after they sounded like crap at one gig

give him a break for a guy whos been singing for most of his life i think u could cut him some slack i mean even with the broken voice he sang better than half the pop stars of my day (today)

he submeted himself a vocal cords surgery some years ago. Now his voice is stunning great EVER and his american/canadian tour is a huge success

@pl0xyserver Unfortunatly im not from UK, i'm from Croatia, so a trip to concert would cost quite a lot.
Maybe some day if they last, i'll get to see them or at least one of them live. Only hope remains.

@TheWhoForEverAndEver me and you are into the same music :) The Who are playing the closing Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. You can still see them live if you go there :D

@pl0xyserver Yeah, i know pinball wizard already, i was learning overture, quite complex, but Behind blue eyes is a good idea, i'll give it a try.
I'm realy into The Who and 60's music, but i like The Who best. Still i was never able to go to their concert, which is a shame as it is my dream to attend one.

@TheWhoForEverAndEver Good man! :) I agree though, he does get a bit childing sometimes. He's my favourite guitar player too, you should learn Pinball Wizard, very fun song to play :) Behind Blue Eyes is fun too, I enjoy playing all of The Who's songs. There will never be another band like The Who

@pl0xyserver Yeah he's the reason i'm learning guitar! I dont like Petes attitude towards some things, he's acting bit childlish, but i think he finnaly got more mature. But he's my favorite guitar player, he performs his songs realy well, and i find them quite hard to learn, but i cant express how good it feels when i finnaly do. I just love The Who, they were such fabulous musicians, never seen soo much power.

@TheWhoForEverAndEver I agree! Roger does seem quite a bit more mature, attitude wise. Both Amazing though, Pete is my idol, He's the reason i learnt guitar! Would love to meet him, shame about him going deaf/nearly deaf though!
-
@pl0xyserver They have quite an extraordinary relashionship.
I always considered Daltrey more mature than Pete tho. With that drug incident and all.
-
@TheWhoForEverAndEver Yeah i know this but if you seen them play at the Royal Albert hall this year (Roger was doing Tommy, and Pete came on as a suprise) They barely even looked at eachother/said a word to eachother! Pete didn't want to talk to him! They always have ups and downs. aha :)
-
@pl0xyserver They didn't get along, but after Pete's case with child pornography, they got lot closer, you could hear Pete saying that if you watched Amazing journey. At least thats what he said. They had some past grivences but i think they're realy close now.
Does anyone know what happened after this clip?

The band left the stage for about 10 minutes. Pete Townsend returned with an interpreter to tell the people that Roger's voice had gone and he would not be able to continue but the interpreter told the crowd to wait. After 40 minutes the entire band returned and Roger said that his voice was bad but with the help of the audience the band would finish the show. They played another hour in the rain before ending the show with "Won't Get Fooled Again".
