Here's a short video of The Hallton Hilton located in Hallton, PA. This was a grange converted into a bar and restaurant back in 1965. John, a former school teacher in the Brockway School District has made it his life's work serving his world famous Belly Buster burgers to hunters, fisherman and just about everyone that finds themselves near this part of the Clarion River.

You almost need someone to take you there for the first time being that it's in a pretty remote area of Elk County.

  • NICE! I was just there last weekend on Friday AND Saturday! Nothing like it in the world! Without a doubt a "must see it to believe it" type place! I have a camp near by and it's a tradition to stop in and say "hello" to John and the St. Pauli Girl that stares at you the whole time you are in there! LMAO!!!!!

  • WTF? all that video . ...AND NO PIC OF THE DUCKS ON THE CEILING? (whats left of them) . . .lol

  • and I do believe John taught at Ridgway High and took over the place when his Dad became to ill ---I enjoyed many a cold beer there back in the late 60's and early 70's...Haven't been there for a couple years--but the place difinitely has a cult following!!

  • I believe the Hilton was originally an old hotel--Halton, back in the day, had a lot of industry--lumber, tanneries, & chemical plants. John's parents operated it back in the early 60's--it was widely known to serve "venison burgers"--but no one ever knew for sure--the "belly buster" came about in the late '60'/early seventies--at that time you couldn't get near the place on the weekends--cars were parked everywhere and the place was always packed--

  • hahahaha. could not stop laughing. was just there last friday. feel like i need to go back!
