I am a conservative Republican and I greatly admire Michael Bloomberg. I would vote for him based on his character. We may disagree on a lot of issues but from what I read me and him agree on three very important issues (his strong support of the war on terror, his support of smoking bans, and the need for balanced budgets). He is a strong leader.

ditto. isn't Bloomberg the New York mayor who illegally jailed more than 1200 peaceful demonstrators for the duration of the 2004 republican convention while terror money to put military groups armed with machine guns and attack dogs into the NY subway system this election year?
