What year was this out? My guess, judging from the dress and the tune....maybe 65? I would have been fifth grade then. I went to an old old old-school school back in the cottonfields of southeastern arizona. There were all races at this school. I'm white, but we all got along. Naturally, the brothas had total control of the "record room"..at our dances...which spun 45's and some LP's. That meant we listened to stuff like this, James / Bobby Purify, The Capitols, etc. etc. What wonderful memories
@VintageSoul Music - Julius Green is still performing in Amsterdam. Check him out by typing Julius Green in the search area. The guy in the video is not the person singing that song. He replaced John Gary Williams when he went into the armed services. His name is Sammy. Gary put out a few albums under his name..."John Gary Williams". I love his voice. Bev

The Mad Lads had such a smooth sound. They should have gained greater acclaim in their career. Good group and good song.
