For gamelover1949, who previously had this up via his DownsA530 channel.

Yep, the premiere of the 1978-1979 Super Jeopardy run of the famous question-and-answer show is up here again, and in amazing quality with all the commercials left in for your viewing pleasure.

All commercials are public service ads because this comes from an Armed Forces service. This part contains Round 1 with newcomers Emily, Richard, and Jim.

  • Interesting the AFRTS aired game shows in the late '70s. When I was in Germany in the early '70s, AFTV in Berlin didn't air any game shows (though it may have had more to do with the fact that they were only on the air from 4pm to 11pm daily than the fact they couldn't get any).

  • Is that the same studio where Password Plus was taped?

  • @masonben2011 Well, keep in mind, not everyone watched "Jeopardy!" when it first aired on NBC from 1964-1975.

  • @Hondo20132 The theme music was "Frisco Disco" by Mort Lindsey. There are two different versions of it available for downloads if you can find them. One is the original version, the other, second, version was the one used for Jeopardy '78 and Wheel.

  • watever turns me on? why wood i get a boner from juice? and the juice he's describing like lemonade, not a vag. i obviously get turned on by pussy.

  • @Hondo20132 Yep, after (obligatory GS meme) "Woolery left Wheel." lol

  • I never saw Jeopardy! with Art Fleming. I was born in 1984, the year in which it premiered with Alex Trebek.

  • OMG! That guy applauding in the audience with the suit IS the middle contestant Richard. That's SOOO funny! That plus the showing the first two groups of applauding audience members twice means bad editing on the part of this "Jeopardy!" 's crew. hahaha. Good eyes there!

  • This is the version that both Merv Griffin and Art Fleming didn't like, even the fact that it only aired for a couple months. Thanks for the perfect upload, when will the second and final part come in?

  • oh i grew up with ALEX TREBEK ! but whateves ; ))
