It's not an attack on Scotland. It's a reminder of how things used to be a few years ago.and it's pretty accurate. Now STV are turning back the clock so we in Scotland have to see inferior programmes while everyone else gets the good stuff. And Alex Salmond and the SNP want to stop us getting BBC which will mean we'd be worse off than when we started. But now you get accused of being a traitor if you complain.

Christmas Day Tsunami, The invasion of Iraq, Rape case in Delhi, US elections are relevant news stories the world over including Scotland.

That's not my point, my point is I pay the same license fee as someone living in London but I don't receive the same service. Is that fair?

I have no interest in what's happening with the English NHS, Education, Transport etc yet I'm force fed these stories every day. I want to know what's happening n my own country!

Aye, it's really brilliant watching BBC News every day that had little or no relevance to Scotland. Headlining English NHS,Education,Transport and Sports stories, but we get our 2 minute "regional" news every half hour to keep us happy!

Hilarious and true.Now Salmond wants to break up the BBC if Scotland becomes independent which will have adverts and sounds terrible.Which scottish hill has most sides? I'd say "Ben Octagon"

Yeah Scottish TV is shite. Someone needs to put a rocket up STV's arse. Thank God for BBCI player and never hearing that stupid phrase again.
