I grew up playing both. From Sonic to Mario to NiGHTS to Zelda. ect ect

Oh please the only reason they went out of console marketing is because they kept releasing new consoles contradicting the ones they have just released.

Butt hurt over a 15 year old commercial much? Sega was and still is one of the most legendary videogame companies. It's a pity there's so many ignorant fanboys, many who were probably in diapers during the great 16 bit rivalry, ripping Sega without even playing the games.

People like you were probably the targets of these ads; those who can be easily influenced by watching a few commercials.

Genesis had bad games and poor quality video game hardware? Nintendo didn't so does that mean that the Genesis does? I wonder if Sega thought of that when they made this commercial. Haha, in all seriousness though I actually did like the Genesis even though their were only 5 games worth playing for me, but my heart lies with the SNES.

lol sega needs something new. i mean, dont get me wrong, sonic kicks your ass until it falls off, but mario was alot better at the time, and if you wanted a sonic game everyone went for the Game
Gear because it suposidly had the best somic game on it, sonic the hedgehog 2, otherwise sonic cd, which everyone thought was the best sonic game, but i owned the genises and the sega cd, and even sonic cd when i was little, and whenever i went to a freinds house, i always just went for for my game gear
