h22 integra spinning drag radials in 3rd gear on 93 octane. t67 turbo. the speedometer stops at 150 and we kept going after it stopped. 165 is estimated

  • H22A redlines at 8000rpm

  • @tofast4uh22 f series have the longest gears and are best for boost, as far as their integrity goes, ive never heard much verified and reliable infromation on that. h series are more for N/A  applications. not to mention you could just get another F-series trans hella cheap if it ever does start going bye bye

  • Why do people tune up FWD cars? It makes no sense at all. As soon as you make any power you are done for because traction goes out the window until 100mph.

  • @tofast4uh22- what did you have to modify to put a full H swap in ur teggy? I was thinking abt doing that but then I hear you have to cut off the tranny bracket and weld something and I don't wanna do all of that so I'm just going to go H2B and use my LS tranny

    trust me the h23 is the best tranny for our engines. but keep in mind the gearing is not that tall but it is perfect.

    the f22 is way too tall as well as weaker then the h-23/22 trannys.

  • @tofast4uh22 thanks, i have a jdm h22 lsd tranny, with a built/boosted h22 motor as well, and i am trying to avoid getting a custom tranny put together, because i want longer gears, but i dont want the f22, and i havent heard much about the h23 tranny

    redline is set at 9000rpm but i shift at 8000 most of the time.

    (its a built motor)
