Can u give me the song name and maybe dowload?

I hope I'm not being too nosy, but how much did it cost? I want to look for one for myself and I want to know a ballpark figure to save up for.

A very popular piano with rock bands in the 80's. Nice looking one you have there.

Too bad of the recording quality but thanks for the samples:)
Cheers,

can you semi tone transpose or is it limited to the physical boundaries or analog tines?

@novanine9 This piano has strings, just like a real piano. Not possible to transpose without retuning the entire piano. Now you could get a Big Briar / Moog Piano Bar to transmit MIDI and turn the piano's amp off.

@zibbybone - thanks for the info...
so basically, you can use the cp80 as midi controller?
I am considering the cp 80 for live gigs with my band.

@novanine9 No, the CP-80 does not have MIDI. However, there is also a CP-80M and CP-70M which do have MIDI outputs. Bob Moog made a product in the late 90's / early 00's called a Piano Bar which can be placed on top of a piano's keyboard and transmit MIDI.

Is this better than the cp70
KKOPPI 11 months ago
@KKOPPI Only difference between the 70 & 80 are the number of keys: 73 on the CP-70 and full 88 on the 80. The CP-70B also has balanced outputs like the CP-80 whereas the 70 only has unbalanced outs. The 70M and 80M also add MIDI OUTputs.
