  • @bluesgurugod Why? Because he likes the ground game and see's it as an integral part of mixed martial arts? All you've done with your comment, is shown everybody else in this thread that your are an immature, narrow minded moron, who should stfu, basically.

  • Miller is right.

  • @eggsandwich8885 thank you for backing my comment. Theres not enough people on youtube content with agreeing on things. lol

  • if there is no action on the ground stand them up some fights on the ground aint that bad chael sonnen is probally the worst for just laying on people its very fustrating to watch

  • Nothing wrong with ground and pound. Lay and pray is a whole 'nother can of worms. Stalling is against the rules. You get a takedown for a reason; to set up a sub or striking position...I say if the guy on the bottom is negating all offense, stand them up.

It's a fine line because some fighters move around a lot and seem like they are fighting to finish when they are not.

  • ground and pound is a reality inside the cage, on street stand up is much more common case. Sure everybody needs to know both aspects of fighting, but stand up is always the first step.

  • @txchevy2000 That's true, there is a big double standard to wrestlers in comparison to strikers. When wrestlers Lay-N-Pray too a decision victry like GSP, Jn Fitch, Clay Guida, or Rashad Evans. They are praised, but if Anderson Silva does a bit of stalling. He becomes public enemy #1. Some of these wrestling oriented MMA fanatics make me sick. Alt of them seem to be rich boys that wrestled as kids because mama didn't want them going to anything that involved real combat like Boxing or Muay Thai.

  • "A roud in (only) 5 minutes."-Joe Rogan What?! Joe you just made a point that doesn't support your argument! It is ONLY 5 minutes, that's why we should utilize the stand up rule if the guy is stalling to get past those quick 5 minutes, moron!

  • i disagree. there is are some wrestlers who only have a double leg and nothing else.they do this then lie on top. i will not pay to watch this

  • I have no prob with ground game if something is happening but if a guy is just holding you for points its bs. Just like jake the pussy shields in the mahem fight. Shields didnt mount and do damage, he didnt sub. All he did was hold mahem down cause he knows Jason Mahem Miller will fuck him up if he doesnt. In my opinion thats not fighting and is just as bad as what silva did in the maia fight. If ur in mma or ufc throw down dont be a little bitch. If u wanna hold go to highschool and wrestle.
