is karima ok? she hasnt done anything in a while gigs wise since she said she couldnt do any on her myspace, i wish her a full recovery, shes inspirational, her music is incredible

If this girl doesnt become a legend i am officially giving up faith in music. Her voice is like nothing iv heard in my life. If this girl comes within a hundred miles of me ill be there. The greatest luck to her.

I see from comments you left that you are based in Birmingham. If you go to her myspace (the obvious name) you'll find she is appearing at the Custard Factory in Birmingham on 13th May. She does sound like nobody else, and really has to be seen live - the videos don't do it justice.

If you get a chance say hello for me (Steve). I must have seen her play perhaps 20 times since October 2006 when she played In the City in Manchester.

Hi Kali - Karima is a unique performer. If you want to hear some smoother performances, then go to her MySpace. When I spoke to her before this performance she was telling me not to expect too much as she'd not been on stage for three months. She's currently working on getting her first album produced and it's proving a bit complicated.
There are a few interviews around with Karima Music is in Karima's soul - I don't think she could exist without it. Message me if you want to know/hear more.
